I Had Tea With Her Majesty, The Queen: An Artificially Intelligent Puppet


Robot engineers from London created an Artificially Intelligent puppet that looks just like Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, who can rattle off about almost any topic from the Prime Minister to penicillin. She’s a walking, talking Google search engine that listens and understands conversations.

Her creators made her more 'human' by tweaking the algorithms controlling her voice to include different tones, speeds and accurate lip-sync.

Is this what robots are going to look like in the future? As she becomes more intelligent, does that make her more dangerous?
